One of four pairs of ruby slippers made for "The Wizard of Oz." These had felt on the soles and were used for Judy Garland’s dancing scenes. Also, in L. Frank Baum’s story, these were silver slippers, but were changed to "ruby" to take full advantage of the Technicolor.
